Introduction

AfterLands (“we”) respects the privacy of everyone who visits afterlands.com (“the Site”) and runs the Minecraft server of the same name. This Policy explains what data we process, who we share it with, and the rights you have under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, “LGPD”), which governs this site regardless of where you're reading from.

What data we collect

The Site requires no sign-up, login, or form to browse: we don't collect your name, email, or any data you type in here. The only data this page processes is your chosen language (saved locally in your browser, never sent to us) and, once you allow it, the technical browsing data described in “Cookies” below.

If you play on our Minecraft server or join our Discord community, those platforms have their own privacy policies (Mojang/Microsoft and Discord Inc., respectively); we recommend reading them.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies: Necessary, which only store your chosen language, don't track you, aren't shared with anyone, and can't be disabled since the Site depends on them; and Analytics & Advertising (Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel, via Google Tag Manager), which measure visits and traffic sources and help personalize the server's ads.

Analytics & Advertising cookies only load after you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner, or allow that category from the “Manage Cookies” panel in the footer of any page. You can withdraw that permission at any time from the same panel.

Sharing with third parties

When you allow Analytics & Advertising cookies, browsing data (such as pages visited and cookie identifiers) is shared with Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook Pixel), subject to each company's own privacy policy. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

Your rights

Under LGPD art. 18, you can request, at any time, confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion, portability, information on sharing, withdrawal of consent, and deletion of data processed under your consent.

Since the Site doesn't collect directly identifying data, the fastest way to exercise these rights is withdrawing cookie consent from the “Manage Cookies” panel in the footer of any page; the change is immediate.

Retention

Analytics & Advertising cookies follow Google/Meta's own default retention period (typically up to 2 years) or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first. Your language preference stays saved in your browser until you clear the site's data.

Minors

The Site doesn't collect personal data directly: there's no sign-up or form. Still, part of our audience is made up of children and teenagers. We recommend minors only allow Analytics & Advertising cookies with a guardian's guidance.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Site or the law. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version.
